Child Eating Screening

It is hard to know if your child has serious eating concerns or is just the "fussy-norm" that we expect from new eaters and toddlers. As loving parents and carers, we can all get a bit anxious and unsure.

To support our Bite Nutrition community, we have adopted a validated short assessment that can support the early identification of child eating concerns.

This screening tool is only for children 0-4years of age. When you complete the 6 screening questions, a dietitian will review the responses and email you a brief outcome and potential next steps in the following 4 days. 

This is a screening tool only and without a comprehensive assessment, any concerns you have on your child's eating should be raised with your trusted health care professional. 

This screening tool is a nominal fee for our time in processing the report. Beyond the initial email assessment, you will need to follow up on recommendations for additional costs, but we hope it supports your next steps.
